Triologie de Grenade

The events take place in the Kingdom of Granada after the fall of all Islamic kingdoms in Al-Andalus. The trilogy begins in 1491, the year Granada fell with the announcement of the treaty by which Abu Abdullah Muhammad al-Saghir, the last king of Granada, ceded his kingdom to the monarchs of Castile and Aragon. It ends with the last living protagonist, Ali, defying the decision to expel Muslims when he discovers that death lies in leaving Al-Andalus, not in staying.
